Erice, Sicily
This little City just stole my heart haha,

With its mostly mideval architecture it is breath taking, but this small walled city on top of the mountain with its castles and churches has a history far greater and dates back way before, 800 BC the Elymians raised the first fortification of the City, but in the late Bronze age the acropolis hosted the Venus Temple and her priestesses founded by Aeneas (a Trojan hero, the son of prince Anchises and the goddess Venus ), a sacred place dedicated to Venus and well known throughout the Mediteranian, On the Nature of Animals, Claudius Aelianus (ca. 175–ca. 235) writes that animals chosen for sacrifice would voluntarily walk up to the altar to be killed.

Day 2 the City was gently layered in fast moving clouds, layering the Castles and the Mideval surroundings in swift flashes of haze/mist, it was something I had never seen before, I would stand somewhere and a white sheer flash would suddenly surround me giving me a gentle cold breeze on a very hot day, standing in a cloud, it was surreal, something I would see in movies... surreal and magnificent!

I discovered that I'm a big big fan of Sicilian food btw, its sooooooo goooood!!!

the white dress is a 3.1 Phillip Lim sample, the shoes Zara and the bag is from gogosushi, the blue eyelet dress is H&M with Urban Outfitter sneakers, The Polkadot dress also a 3.1 Phillip Lim with Jeffrey Campbell lace-ups

the Netherlands - part one

Back "home" in the Netherlands, in Arnhem to be precise,
Most of these buildings date back to the 15th century, this is in the center of the town, funny enough growing up I didn't really spent much attention to them, it was natural, now after 4.5 years New York I'm actually pretty much in love with the Archetecture!! Most of these pearls were destroyed during 2nd world war and the fight over the bridges... This last building is called "the devils house", 15th century too decorated with devils, werewolfs etc..

The Bakery, more than 100 years old is a favorite, this bread is called "grofje"I'm not sure but it might even be that its a city thing and hard to find in other city's... not sure though,
I was running errand for my trip to Sicily in a few hours haha, packing again!!

After I come back I will show you more Netherlands and where I grew up :)

I met up with Jamie in Greenpoint Brooklyn, We were browsing the locations there and took some shots, I loveeeee his photography and Greenpoint is def a area where you can find me a lot!

The outfit is actually a subtle layer galore, I'm really into these layers lately, Its my Complex Geometries hooded tee, Alexander Wang blazer and H&M biker vest with my Zara boots, talking about H&M there are some really awesome hats I'm luring at, and at Zara there is this black Mongolian Fur vest I tried on like 10 times already but couldn't make up my mind...

The packing so far is a disaster, my suitcase is way to heavy so I will have to dive back in to take things out :( I guess I will need to be creative in Europe (I'm having my Mothers closet in mind as well as my Dad's old rolling stone tees)

the first thing I always do back home ( last time I was there is about a year ago) is shopping my own closet, I should have a pair of black dr martens there :) ughhhh 11 hour flight tomorrow :( sux!!!
