A red and lilac combination today! Red has been a bit of my accent color lately! You know, Hot summers require hot colors ;) Oh yeah, hot summers do not require hot fuzzy jumpers hahaha

A fluttering tease

I love white dresses in Spring/Summer but... yes... the sun loves white dresses too hahahaha
I always wear bikini's underneath, to keep the see-through as... well... as decent as possible, the see-through mostly comes from the back-light and because of the abundance of fabric in a long length dress like this it's mostly just a fluttering tease instead of really being see-through... I call this dress my "single-no-more-dress" as a joke of course ;)

dip dye, neon and Phillip Lim

A more sportive look today! I couldn't resist the H&M dip dye leggings and thought they would work amazing with the neon nike's and my canvas 3.1 Phillip Lim tote! Adding a light blue shirt and a beautiful necklace and yes, my dinosaur skeleton cuff!

Monotone

The Elephant blue/gray wallet gave me the idea to make a monotone look with (baby) blue's and turquoises! Somehow it works together, it's almost like some colors blend in together when you wear them! I have been wearing so much baby blues these past day's often with some stronger lip color or just all natural but with a stronger blush! Ohhh I got a date tonight! No idea yet what to wear!!!

I don't know if you have heard of Melvin&Hamilton before but if you like beautiful crafted classic derbies, brogues, loafers and leather woven accessories like me you will find yourself right at home! I love soft, classic, relaxed and sophisticated looks, almost menswear but still very feminine. When asked to be a brand ambassador for Melvin&Hamilton I became so exited because of the beautiful crafted brogues and loafers that are so lush because of the fine-tuned detailing, classic fit and materials like perforated leather in the shoes and the use of woven leather in the accessories!

I'm lusting over all the woven leather accessories, the bags, ipad cases and wallets! The Blue Elephant color is a gorgeous gray like blue in a soft woven leather and the size is perfect for a wallet that needs to be seen ;)

Lea 4 Luxor Beige

I really wanted a sophisticated summer lace-up derby like shoe, a light hearted shoe that goes well with soft classic trousers, the beige color has a perfect nude-ish undertone and the perforated leather gives that summer feel!

Making Monday's ........

A very simple yet subtle unexpected Spring look today by wearing the booties with this dress giving a simple dress an unexpected touch and kind of making this a different look by the pop of color on the feet. I just felt like doing something unexpected, makes Monday less of a bore ;)

I was asked by Gérard Darel to style and make a daily life ~ 24 hours rapportage with my favorite Gérard Darel "24 Heures"bag and not just for fun but for a very special project! My bag is the Python leather "24 Heures" cuir Utah 2007! and yes the year matters! 2007 was the year I was living in New York working as a fashion trend forecaster in the heart of Manhattans fashion district. My first job just out of college in a city like New York meant that for the first time I had money to spend on all those fashion cravings like amazing shoes and yes "it bags" my very first real designer bag was a MiuMiu and this bag reminds me it!

It's an anniversary!

It's an anniversary! For the 24h bags 10th anniversary Gérard Darel has reissued it's gorgeous 24h bags! The bags are limited edition and will be sold only on the Gérard Darel official website! Little story about the creation of a big bag 

Creating a cult item can sometimes seem like an impossible mission. Yet when magic and desires get involved, a dream can quickly turn into reality. The first lines of the 24h's beautiful story were written to unexcpeted authors: although they had never created accessories, Darel's design offices decided to sketch the idea of this gem: light, flexible, practical and it had to be made of leather. Functionnal, it would adapt to each and every moment of the day thanks to its generous volume. With its graceful allure, it would be both enveloping and incredibly feminine, sexy when wearing it, and casually chic when sitting next to its owner.  One thing leading to another, the dream bag started to take shape. Prepared to face every challenge of daily life, the 24 Heures came to life, with the whole DNA of the Darel house as it's signature. Ready to become every women's favourite companion... 

I styled the Python leather with simple white blouse and trousers, Zara sandals and my new Muubaa jacket, the belt is a diy that I made out of a Rebecca Minkoff bag strap ;) Dont forget to check out the Instagram Contest to win your own 24h Bag!
